Adventure Park Water Park, Geelong

If you’re up for an adventure, pack up the car and head south on the M1 for a day at Victoria’s biggest theme park! Adventure Park is every child’s dream, with fun water activities and amusement rides at every turn. Brave the Tornado, float down the Lazy River, navigate Bonito’s Bay Waterplay park, or race your buddies to the bottom of the Aqua Racer. If you’d prefer to stay dry, there’s mini golf, a ferris wheel and even an archery range.

AquaPulse

Splash away the heat with this excellent holiday option for families. Kids will have a wild time playing in the Aqua Park Play area, with waterslides, water cannons and spray features, a giant tipping bucket and tipping cones. Bungies Hole, Werribee

Venture down to the tranquil banks of Bungies Hole and you might just see a bunyip! Well, that’s just one of many stories told about this historical landmark in Werribee. Legend has it that the waterhole has no bottom (it’s actually 30 metres deep). Another tale tells of it being named after an Aboriginal elder named Budgel Carnie who lived in the 19th century. Visit this historical landmark today and you’ll find a peaceful reserve with a rope swing, and a nice place to set up a portable barbecue, or you can walk 10 minutes to Truck Stop Deluxe for one of their famous burgers.

Werribee South Foreshore Reserve

The picture-perfect views of You Yangs Regional Park across the bay make Werribee South Foreshore the perfect spot for a barbecue with friends. Paddle in the clear water’s edge, try your luck at fishing or explore one of the walking trails at this iconic point on the western edge of Port Phillip Bay. For the adventurous, you can try canoeing, kayaking or boating, or discover the Werribee South market garden region, with over 3,000 hectares of cultivated land, making for a beautiful patchwork of colours as you drive through.
