World Clean-up Day
15 September

Gather your friends and family together to spend a fun day helping clean up our local beaches, waterways, parks and streets. Windermere will have 50 hectares of open green space, including creeks and waterways with over 5,000 trees and 400,000 native shrubs and grasses. This is a great chance to give back to the community and help to keep Australia beautiful!

Pet & Animal Expo
16 September

Come and meet some furry friends at Wyndham City’s annual Pet & Animal Expo on Sunday 16 September, 10am–3pm at the Wyndham Civic Centre. There is something for everyone at this FREE family and pet friendly event, with lots of pet displays, fun kids’ activities and an array of food trucks.

Health and Active Expo

22 September to 14 October

Looking for a way to keep fit, but not sure where to start?

Wyndham City’s Healthy and Active Expo showcases sports and fitness activities in your local neighbourhood with free events, clinics and ‘come and try’ sessions for all ages and abilities. Whether you are looking for a local dance or martial arts class, a walking group to explore the local parks with, a friendly game of lawn bowls or a more intensive cardio class, the Healthy and Active Expo is has something for everyone.

Sunshine Lantern Festival

23 September

Sunshine’s Hampshire Road expects to draw crowds yet again for the annual celebration of the full moon. This South-East Asian style event has been described as one of the biggest festivals in the West and is expected to have over 55 thousand visitors to enjoy the day as a community. Bring the whole family along to this colourful event, full of music, dancing and activities for all ages.
