Project update: July 2023

Windermere in Melbourne’s west has become a thriving community that is set amongst 50 hectares of parklands, wetlands and a creek reserve, enabling residents to enjoy an active lifestyle.

More than 750 homes are now occupied or under construction with over 2,000 residents residing in the masterplanned community.

Landscaping in the second section of our waterway between Elementary and Ison Roads is now finished and coming to life with over 68,000 native grasses, shrubs and ground covers planted.

This area will soon open allowing residents to utilise an expanded recreational loop which includes exercise and bike service stations for walking, running and cycling activities.

With Stages 17 and 18 recently titled, construction activities are now focused on the delivery of Stages 19-27. Stages 19-21 will be handed over to new residents this year with construction works now completed. Final authority auditing and the compliance process is well underway.

Elsewhere in the estate, landscaping has recently been installed across Stages 9-12, 15, 16 and Ison Road. We have also completed a branch sewer extension, enabling the future delivery of Stages 28-31.

In more positive news, the majority of buildings are starting to take shape at our new primary school and kindergarten located on Elementary Road. The school will open in Term 1, 2024 and an announcement on the school’s new name by the Victorian Department of Education is imminent.

Just 38 kilometres from Melbourne’s CBD, this thriving community has already evolved to become a sough-after destination of modern comfort amidst stunning surrounds.
