Hello and welcome to Windermere’s construction update for September, from your team here in Mambourin.
Today, the Windermere team are proud to deliver to you the September construction updates directly from the team on the ground!
Stages 1 & 2
- Stages one and two are titled.
Stages 3 & 4
- Stages three and four are titled.
Stages 5 – 8
- All civil construction works are completed in Stages 5-8, with civil ‘practical completion’ being issued by Wyndham City Council. The project team are now seeking statement of compliance approvals from the relevant Government authorities, prior to the stages titling.
Stage 9 & 10
- The civil contractor has commenced civil construction works for Stages 9 & 10.
Stage 15 – 16
- Earthworks are completed, the civil contractor is now undertaking road boxing (preparing the area for road works), sewer and drainage.
- Construction works are progressing well.
Windermere Construction Update – Waterway Works
Section 1 Waterway & Wetlands
- Civil construction works are completed.
- The project team are now seeking ‘statement of compliance’ from the relevant Authority.
- The road (Elementary Road) and culvert bridge across the waterway are completed. This forms a key transport linkage between Stages 1 and 3.
- The culvert bridge, waterway and wetlands will be landscaped in due course.
Landscape Works (Stages 1-8, Greens Road & Wetlands)
- The landscape contract will be awarded in the next few weeks.
- Stages 1-8 Streetscapes (street trees and lawn), Greens Road landscaping and landscaping of the waterway and wetlands are included in the landscape contract!
